$2,800.00
18th century polychromed wood sculpture. In a gruesome scene, a tiger and lion devour a prostrate moor beneath a tree, while a second moor appears to be attacking the lion with a weapon(now missing). Possibly part of a larger tableau and seemingly a symbolic reference to the struggles of European colonization, much like the famous "Tipu's Tiger" located in the V & A Museum.
